Bachelor in Cyber Security Engineering
The students will acquire necessary knowledge and skills to make IT-systems malware-proof and how to combat cyber-attacks. The curriculum combines theoretical and practical studies (e.g. labs/practice lessons in which students can go through all the steps of setting up and securing the network and services of a company.

Thematic Scope
By the end of their students, the student will be able to independently design, implement and maintain IT-systems that follow security requirements by:
- understanding the life span of an information system;
- mastering the basics of information system administration, including development and testing environments;
- knowing how to programme, test and implement an information system from the viewpoint of security and maintainability;
- knowing how to perform security testing for an information system based on set standards and the best practice;
- knowing how to implement processes guaranteeing the security information systems and being capable of taking part in developing and improving them;
- following ethical norms in professional activity.

Job opportunities
Upon successful completion of their studies, students will be able to find error made during the setup of computer networks and devices, organise the cyber security of an institution, implement the best practices etc. Graduates will be able to work as IT specialists, become members of computer emergency readiness teams. Also, they can continue studies on master’s level in cyber security and later work as Chief Security Officers.
