ENDR Conference: Towards a greener Defence, next January 24

12 January 2023/in home, news /by Fransisca Tena

Our partners Eric Grivel from University of Bordeaux, Benoit Consolini from Aerocampus Aquitaine and Michel Dubarry from Rolls Royce, will participate in this conference organised by the European Commission, the Regional Council of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, its Development and Innovation Agency and its regional partners.

The main goal is to exchange views on the importance of the challenge of sustainable development for European defence industries. The Conference will include a session on how to make the European Defence sector more attractive for young people thanks to greener practices.

The event will encourage participants to exchange best practices and introduce existing solutions contributing to the greening of the sector and implementing the Green Deal objectives, enhance synergies between civil and defence companies, identify needs from the industry and introduce EU programmes supporting R&D.

The event is taking place in the framework of the European Network of Defence-related Regions.
