Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Cybersecurity (CYBERUS)

The CYBERUS Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Cybersecurity prepares graduates for careers in cybersecurity by offering a combination of courses meant to develop technological, research and horizontal skills.

All students spend the first two semesters of studies at the University Bretagne Sud to ensure a solid common cybersecurity foundation. During the winter break, they will attend the Winter School at Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) on ‘Cyberthreats to the EU and Cyberactors’.

In the third semester, the students will specialise in either:

• IoT Cybersecurity (Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium), or;
• Software Cybersecurity (University of Luxmebourg).

In the final semester, students will conduct a five month internship at their selected institute anywhere in the world and write a master’s thesis under joint supervision of either UBS and ULB, or UBS and UL researchers.

CYBERUS graduates will be able to hold diverse positions depending on their chosen specialisation track and final internship, for example as cybersecurity engineer, cybersecurity analyst/assessor, security architect, security product integrator, penetration tester, software developer/engineer, cryptographer, malware analyst, and application security expert.
