ASSETs+ supports the first EUDIS Hackathon 2024
The call for participants and selection is open from 4th April 2024 to 19th May 2024. The first EUDIS hackathon is scheduled to take place on 31 May to 2 June 2024. The theme of the hackathon will be “Digital in Defence”.
The Hackathons and Mentoring Programme are part of the EU Defence Innovation Scheme (EUDIS). They give a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the European defence sector, connect with like-minded individuals and organisations, and use your knowledge and skills to solve current defence challenges together as a team!

The theme of the 1st edition is “Digital in Defence”. This theme aligns seamlessly with the European Defence Fund Work Program, capitalizing on the widespread relevance of digitalization. Its inclusive appeal extends beyond the realm of defence, welcoming participation from a diverse range of stakeholders.
The challenge topics within this theme encompass a spectrum of cutting-edge concepts, including information superiority, cyber security, digital transformation featuring trustworthy and energy-efficient AI, as well as advancements in human language technologies.
Additionally, the theme delves into the possibilities offered by the Internet of Things (IoT), particularly the integration of advanced passive and active sensors for enhanced situational awareness and operational effectiveness.
