The event will take place at Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (ETSIT). UPM, Avenida Complutense, Madrid (Spain) on April 19.
Women, Engineering and Defence is a project led by the Spanish Secretary of State for Defence in collaboration with the Fundación Circulo de Tecnologías para la Defensa y la Seguridad, Isdefe and the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAING), which provides visibility to women who develop her profession in the defence and engineering sector, valuing her contribution to society and providing female references who carry out their activity in the sector.
The project has a double objective, to promote STEM vocations (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) and to attract female talent to the defence and engineering sector, presenting opportunities for professional and personal development within this sector.
