Enhanced Pilot Interfaces & Interactions for fighter Cockpit

The project “Enhanced Pilot Interfaces & Interactions for fighter Cockpit” (EPIIC) will focus on new air power capabilities and seek to ensure the Air dominance of the European defence forces.

Goal
EPIIC aims at tackling the huge technological challenges of the future air warfare and the collaborative combat by identifying, assessing and developing highly innovative technologies and disruptive interactive modalities to be integrated into future fighter cockpits. EPIIC will study and develop some key fighter cockpit–related technologies such as, adaptive HMI, Innovative Virtual Assistant interaction, Large Area Display, Innovative and sovereign Eyes-Out technologies (Helmet Mounted Display and Canopy projection), disruptive Crew monitoring systems and new multi modal interactions.
