7 February 2020/in C4ISTAR, European Project, fiches /by Fransisca Tena

The main objective of the project “European Protected Waveform” (EPW) is to present the military end-user with an innovative end-to-end secure solution for seamless satellite communications at maximum information assurance. The European Protected Waveform is built around four corner stones: efficient, secure, affordable and interoperable satellite communications and will be accessible to small, mid-sized and large European nations seeking to embrace today’s and future challenges related to increased throughput demand over satellite, dispersed operations, mobility and new security threats.

Goal
The project will study and design a multi-layered security and resiliency solution built around the corner stones of efficient, secure, affordable and interoperable satellite, to embrace today’s and future challenges related to increased through put demand over satellite, dispersed operations, mobility and new security threats.
