ASSETs+ Training the Trainers Workshop

The workshop took place at Aerocampus Aquitaine and University of Bordeaux/Bordeaux INP last November 22-23.

During two days, all the ASSETs+ partners -academia, VETs, industry and sectoral organizations-, took part in this hybrid workshop, where the ASSETS+ Courses Methodology was presented.

The first day session started with a brief reminder on the design methodology, an overview of the different training programmes, the guidelines for implementation and drivers, barriers and recommendations. The trainers also presented some examples of the different courses implemented and the discussion was oriented around the good practices used as well as the issues and problems identified.

After this session there was also a visit to the hangars, the Materials and Avionics divisions and the aeronautical laboratoires at Aerocampus Aquitaine.

On the second day, there was a panel discussion about the implementation of pedagogical approach related to defence topics in a European context. The session ended with a blended meeting involving teachers and external experts, where the provisional conclusions from the expert’s evaluation of the Guideline for Education & Training Programmes were presented.
