Engineer 3rd year, option AI

The AI option is a 3rd year engineering school option in computer science. It trains students to design and deploy systems integrating the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence.

In cooperation with: LaBRI(Bordeaux Computer Research Laboratory), IMS(Institute of Mathematics of Bordeaux), CNRS(French National Centre for Scientific Research), Inria(National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology), IBM(International Business Machines Corporation), One Point, Scalian, Airudit

Duration: 1 semester
(S9 –from October to January)>tutorials and projects1 semester
(S10, from February to August) > internship

Thematic/Scope

To train engineers capable of :

  • Master the technical aspects of today’s AI
  • Integrate AI into business projects
  • Know the limits of the different possible approaches
  • Understanding the stakes of the human/IA relationship
  • Use AI ethically and responsibly

Covering the major application domains of AI :

  • Statistical learning (images, decisions, sounds, language…)
  • Algorithmic methods (reasoning, logic, constraints, planning…
